ALERT: SCAM EMAILS

Everyone is familiar with scam emails these days, and unfortunately, EMWA is also a victim of such fraudulent practices.

With a high level of email traffic during conference season, the scammers know when to target you.

A diligent member has informed us today that he received an email supposedly from our President, Maria Koltowska-Haggstrom. Please be aware of this scam email which appears to be circulating among our members.

Should you receive an email which is not the official EMWA president's address (president@EMWA.org), please report it to the following address: report@phishing.gov.uk.

As the emails are not from an EMWA account there is nothing we can do and we hope that our members stay vigilant, do not reply to the emails, and report them to the email address given above.

Thanks - and enjoy the rest of the conference.
