Are you an experienced medical writer looking to work in a rapidly growing life sciences consulting firm?

We are looking for experienced writers to join our fully remote team to engage with a variety of biopharmaceutical clients to prepare manuscripts, technical reports and/or market access documents.

Medical Writer Role
Maple has significantly grown since its founding in 2015 and currently has opportunities for medical writers to join the team to support its core competencies of market access strategy, evidence synthesis, health economics and value communications.

US and EU based candidates will be considered but must have flexibility to accommodate US-based clients’ schedules. Completion of a writing assessment is a screening requirement as part of the recruiting process.

Required
o At least 3 years of experience with medical writing, preferably in value communications or health economics within the life sciences consulting industry.
o Advanced degree, preferably a doctorate degree, within a relevant scientific discipline.
o Familiarity with health economics or quantitative evidence synthesis is a huge asset.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly to expert audiences.
o Ability to embrace and exemplify Maple’s culture of collaboration, quality and humility where excellence in collaborative execution is celebrated.
o Superior attention to detail.
o Mastery of the English language and relevant scientific terminology.

Responsibilities
o Ability to drive medical writing deliverables as part of a global, cross-functional team and work independently to complete each deliverable to Maple’s standards.
o Ability to manage contributions and communicate timelines with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders.
