EMWA needs you for your 2017 Executive Committee!
Dear EMWA member,
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the forthcoming elections for positions in the Executive Committee (EC). The positions are: Vice-President, Honorary Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer. We welcome applications from any EMWA members who meet the eligibility criteria set out below.
To be eligible for any of the positions, candidates must be paid-up EMWA members, and must have attended at least one spring conference in the previous three years. In addition, specifically for each role:
- Vice-President: Must have either served on the EC previously or served EMWA in another official capacity in the previous three years (e.g. workshop leader, or on a subcommittee).
- Honorary Secretary: no other requirements
- Treasurer: no other requirements
- Public Relations Officer: no other requirements

If you would like to apply, please provide a candidate statement of up to 400 words, indicating the position you are interested in, and include a picture of yourself embedded into the Word document, to email@example.com by 16 January 2017. Voting details will be sent out electronically in April 2017. The successful candidates will be notified before the Annual Meeting which will take place at the EMWA Spring Conference in Birmingham in May 2017.
