EMWA needs you for the Executive Committee! Deadline is 16 January 2019

Dear EMWA Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the forthcoming elections for positions in the Executive Committee (EC). The positions are: Vice-President, Honorary Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer. We welcome applications from any EMWA members who meet the eligibility criteria set out below.

To be eligible for the positions, candidates must be paid-up EMWA members, and must have attended at least one spring conference in the previous three years. In addition, specifically for each role:

• Vice-President: Must have either served on the EC previously or served EMWA in another official capacity in the previous three years (e.g. workshop leader, or on a subcommittee)
• Honorary Secretary: no other requirements
• Treasurer: no other requirements
• Public Relations Officer: no other requirements

If you would like to apply, please provide a candidate statement, up to 400 words, indicating the position you are interested in, and include a picture of yourself embedded into the Word document, to info@emwa.org by 16 January 2019.

Voting details will be sent out electronically in April 2019. The successful candidates will be notified before the Annual General Meeting which will take place at the EMWA Spring Conference in Vienna in May 2019.

In addition, the EC are looking for volunteers who can help support some of the present committee members in their roles, so if there are other ways you would like to get involved with EMWA, please feel free to contact us at info@emwa.org.
