With plenary lectures following literary and historical threads, presentations and panel discussions on a wide range of topics, and workshops dealing with the nuts and bolts of our professions, METM09 will offer editors, translators and other English language facilitators in the Mediterranean area a rich and interesting event.
Accepted presentation titles and abstracts are now posted on our website. Topics include the translation of historical texts, defining roles in writing support services, strategies for editing texts by non-native speakers, the dynamics of pricing editing jobs, problems and solutions related to CAT tools, and much more. Presentation categories encompass research, promising practices and knowledge updates.

The Mediterranean Editors and Translators meetings are aimed at author’s editors, copy editors, journal editors, translators, copywriters, proofreaders, teachers of English for specific purposes, project managers, writing instructors, oral communication coaches, web localizers, and any other English language facilitators. |
