Expertise:
Scientific disciplines covered during many years in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry included microbiology, mammalian physiology, immunology, biochemistry, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and more recently molecular biology. I specialised in anti-infectives and my personal publications comprise scientific papers, book chapters, posters/verbal presentations, and invited reviews. My CV is available on request. Since I became a freelance medical writer over 8 years ago, I have expanded my areas of interest outside the antibiotic field to include treatments for psoriasis, skin cancer, disorders of the central nervous and gastrointestinal systems, the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia, asthma, organ transplantation and cardiovascular disorders.
