Other Information: I have been a medical writer for the pharmaceutical industry since 1995 and understand how important timelines are when clients are working to tight deadlines. My medical writing experience was gained initially from various roles I had within GlaxoSmithKline covering both regulatory and medical information. I have been a freelance medical writer since 2000 and have successfully obtained medical writing assignments from major pharmaceutical companies, CROs and communications agencies.
Commissions as a freelance medical writer have included manuscripts, book chapters, meeting reports, clinical and scientific abstracts as well as clinical study reports, patient narratives and other regulatory specific documents. As an active member of EMWA I am a regular columnist for The Write Stuff and a workshop leader, presenting Medical Writing and Quality Control, a workshop covering both regulatory and public domain documents.
Prior to becoming a medical writer, I held two post doctoral molecular virology positions and completed my undergraduate degree in microbiology. A detailed CV is available upon request.
