As a trained scientist and veterinarian, and having worked for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries, I feel comfortable writing about any biomedical topic.
Some of the topics I have written on include: diabetes, hypertension, kidney-, lung-, heart- and liver-transplant, venous thromboembolic disease, lymphoma, Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, CMV infection, adenovirus and AIDS.
Other Information:
I have a MA, MPhyl and PhD in Microbiology from Columbia University in NY, where I developed my medical writing skills and a DVM degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I acquired experience in Marketing working for the Pharmaceutical Industry and later on moved to work as a medical writer for a CRO. Since January 2007 I have been working as a freelance consultant for biotech companies and as a medical writer for several CROs and large editorial firms such as Wolters Kluwer, providing services for most pharmaceutical companies located in Spain.
